We recently dined at Namaste in Inverness, and it was an absolute delight! The restaurant's cozy ambiance and friendly staff set the tone for a wonderful meal. For starters, we ordered the Cholley Batory, Pao Bajya, Chicken Tikka, and Wrap. The Cholley Batory was a game-changer – the flavors were rich, and the chickpeas were cooked to perfection. The Pao Bajya was another standout dish, with crispy bread and a delicious potato-based filling. The Chicken Tikka and Wrap were also tasty, but the real stars of the show were the Cholley Batory and Pao Bajya. To accompany our meal, we ordered the Samosa Chat, which was crunchy and flavorful. For dessert, the Gulab Jamun was sweet and indulgent. The bill came to around 40, which was very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food. Overall, I highly recommend Namaste in Inverness for its delicious Indian cuisine, cozy atmosphere, and excellent value. Rating: 5/5 stars Will I return? Absolutely, and I'm already craving that Cholley Batory!"

Namaste Inbhir Nis is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors in Inverness. We recently dined here and thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered. The Amritsari Chhole Bhature was exceptional — the Chhole were perfectly spiced, rich, and hearty, paired with fluffy, golden bhature that were light and crisp. It truly captured the essence of Punjabi street food. The Pav Bhaji was another highlight; the vegetable mash was creamy and bursting with flavor, served with buttery, toasted pav buns that complemented it beautifully. It was a delightful balance of spice and comfort that left us wanting more. Our Matar Paneer was cooked to perfection — the paneer cubes were soft and fresh, soaking up the flavorful tomato-based gravy with peas adding a nice sweetness and texture. The paratha served alongside was flaky, warm, and ideal for scooping up the curry. Even the fries were above average, crispy and well-seasoned, a nice snack to round out the meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices very reasonable for the quality served. Namaste Inbhir Nis is definitely our go-to spot for authentic Indian cuisine in Inverness. Highly recommended!

Nestled in the corner of the food market is this hidden gem. If you are craving for that Indian taste do visit them. We had Pao bhaji, chhole bhature, mango lassi and chai and it was hands down the best Indian food we had in Scotland.

A very simple, yet fabulous restaurant inside the Victorian Market in Inverness. I really liked their service because of their heartwarming and kind nature. Nice cosy high chair tables to sit infront of the shop and you can see the staff, who is of course the owner and his wife preparing fresh homely Indian food for customers. A must try shop if you love to try some homely feel Indian food. Also to mention about the pricing-very reasonable and good quantity. Will definitely visit again.

FANTASTIC! delicious! Tastiest Indian meal we’ve had during our trip here. All dishes we tasted were excellent! We had : 1. Chole Bhature 2. Samosa chaat (you could feel the chef’s love for cooking) 3. Pav bhaji Highly recommend for vegetarians, they cook things separately as well. As Indians abroad, they satisfied our cravings perfectly! Home away from home.

I visited Namaste after a friend highly recommended their wrap and chips, and I had to give it a try! The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, which made for a great first impression. Although my meal took a little longer to prepare than expected, it was absolutely worth the wait. The wrap and chips were delicious—packed with flavour and cooked amazingly. It’s still an easy 5-star from me! I’ll definitely be back soon to explore more of their menu. Thank you for a fantastic meal!
